How They Came To Be….
“As a liver transplant recipient, I am always
seeking ways to support others in return for receiving the gift
of a second chance at life. In 1994 Felice Downing and I wanted
to create something “special” to ease the journey for
others and add a little ray of sunshine along the way. “Organ
Buddies” is the result of a labor of love filled with hope
and good wishes. One of the most important reasons for “Organ
Buddies” existence is to help promote donor awareness so that
everyone in need of a transplant will have the chance to receive
the greatest gift of life” |
